Ann believes elected officials, at all levels, have a sacred obligation to uphold their responsibilities with the utmost integrity and dedication. She is of the opinion that all elected positions are best fulfilled by laypeople for one or two terms only. By running for Peoria County Clerk, she hopes to be an example of that type of leadership in the community. It will be her mission to serve the people of Peoria County as a County Clerk who will ensure an office of transparency, efficiency, and fiscal responsibility.

Ann is passionate about family, life, and liberty. Since becoming a parent she has become an advocate for parental rights and informed consent. She believes parents should be able to make decisions in the best interest of both themselves and their minors and that the government should be as far removed from the process of child-rearing as possible.

Ann has been a Hearing Specialist for 10 years. She works serving the hearing impaired, with a specialization in the treatment of Sensorineural type hearing loss, through the use of hearing instrument technology and counseling. She stays very busy as the proud mother of her three young boys (ages 4, 6, 7) and is a devoted wife of 9 years to her husband Reynaldo. Ann loves the outdoors and stays as active as possible. She and her family enjoy biking, hiking, basketball, soccer, swimming with the boys, sand volleyball with her husband, and beach vacations as often as possible.
